Question for the (very) young women who ask, “What kind of (designer) purse should I get?”?
I often see questions asked by young women (girls, really) about what kind of designer purse they should get. Some of these are very young, like 13 years old; and most of the handbags in question are over $200. I’m curious to know how these young women can afford these luxury items. Do your parents agree to buy them for you? Do you save your Christmas and/or birthday money or have a job to pay for it? I guess times have really changed from when I was a youngster and all I wanted was a new stuffed animal. lol
Also, why do you want these bags? Is it to fit in at school or with your peers? I’m very curious.
I’m 13 and I’m not like that, but i know a lot of girls at my school who are. The main reason is because they want to feel popular and rich and stuff like that. And most of the time there parents buy it for them. Same thing with cellphones. I have a BEAUIFUL $25 dollar purse(my parents make me pay half for everything i buy under $50) and i pretty cheap phone and I’m happy. And most of the girls who brag about these expensive things and try to “fit in” are the girls who end up with no friends.
